Amber Tucker, Esq, Of Counsel
Attorney Amber Tucker graduated from Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida in 2005 and began her career at the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office in Tampa, Florida. At the Public Defender’s office, she handled thousands of serious felony cases including attempted murder, armed robbery and drug trafficking cases.
Attorney Tucker grew up in Fryeburg, Maine and, in 2009, moved back to Maine to be closer to her family. Upon her return to Maine, she worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Maine in the criminal division as a Drug Task Force Attorney and prosecuted hundreds of felony drug crimes. Following her employment with the Attorney General’s Office, Attorney Tucker entered private practice and practiced in the areas of family law, criminal defense, personal injury and general civil practice.
Attorney Tucker joined Owen Pickus, D.O., Esq. & Associates in January 2015 and became of counsel to the firm in 2017. She practices with Attorney Pickus in the area of medical malpractice and personal injury.
Between her career in Florida and in Maine, Attorney Amber Tucker has litigated more than 60 trials to verdict, more than half of which were jury trials. She has also taught a course at the University of New England and is a member of the Maine Bar Association, Maine Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and The Florida Bar. She is licensed to practice in Maine state and federal courts.
